1 By continent in ringbinders.
The original 421 transparencies are arranged in 5 files - The World, Africa, Europe, Asia and Americas. Every file is divided into 16 chapters and offers a wide variety of maps (many with overlays), satellite images, drawings, graphs, charts, models and photographs. These 5 files now are complemented with 2 files on geology and climates - a total of 166 new transparencies, based on the outstanding artwork of Dorling Kindersley.





2 Thematically in 6 domains.
The same transparencies are also arranged by theme - for easy access. For example, in domain 5 Population - all charts, graphs and maps about birth rates, urbanisation, migration, etc., are collected together.
Timeless concepts and models are chosen and where possible extrapolated into the future. Time sensitive data like demographic, ecological and socio-economic trends in domains 3 Environment, 4 Economy, 5 Population and 6 Maps & Regions, are fully updated (also updated in the Continent files).


In 2004 domain 1 Geology and domain 2 Climates are extended with a total of 166 new transparencies
