Spreading the news Our full colour inserts occur regularly in all major teaching magazines in Scandinavian, German, English and Dutch speaking countries. For over a decade this made TTE-Visual one of the biggest educational advertisers in the region.
This is our home market where we mail all secondary schools once or twice a year with 5 product-brochures and sample sheets.

1992 Vanuatu (Pacific Ocean Island, Post Box 17)
In the early nineties we supplied visuals with English titles only. However, in our first year we delivered to schools in over 40 countries, from Korea to Uruguay and even one in Vanuatu (PO Box 17).


Singapore and Namibia
In 1993, 2 years after our start, over 60% of schools in Singapore had already purchased one or more series of TTE-visuals. EU-projects also supplied schools in Southern Africa with our Visual Encyclopedias. I still remember Selma Imene, a teacher from Namibia on a conference in Birmingham in January 1994: “So, you’re the one who supplied the transparencies .... Excellent material. I use them every day. I often have to stop my pupils questioning me!”. And I also remember the Director from a school in the Ovambo Desert: “We have your biology pack. We now want to improve all our other courses as well”.

Moscow 1994: TTE at the first free-market fair

TTE-Visual happened to be the only ‘capitalist’ stand-holder ‘from the West’ on the first Russian educational show, also open to firms not related to the government. This was some months after Yeltsin re-captured the parliament with help of the army. We had great success - all seemed promising but soon the economy collapsed. Packed and ready to send - anywhere Schools order mostly during September, October and November. A letter from Belgium in 1995: "We are now the proud owners of the Bio Top Ten. Really beautiful! We will use them intensively. Thank you for your fast and professional service!”

We deliver to your door! Some people are surprised that we charge mailing costs. We have to: sometimes we pay more to the Royal Mail, than we make in profit in a year.
